The hair trends we are seeing this fall are definitely Insta-grid worthy!

One thing I've noticed with hair trends over my 16 years behind the chair is that they aren't changing every single season. About once a year, I see a certain trend evolve into a slightly different version.

My favorite example of this is the ombre trend. Remember Drew Barrymore's early ombre? OPE. Each year, this haircolor technique has stayed "on trend" but evolved into softer versions (with some even keeping highlights at the root) that we now coin as "lived-in" haircolor.

So what are our favorite "new" trends we can't get enough of:

CURTAIN BANGS

Last year, they sported a "longer" version, hitting anywhere from nose to chin length. Now, the curtain bang trend is evolving shorter with the shortest pieces being cut from eyebrow or cheekbone down.

OLD MONEY BLONDE/BRONDE

Search this on the internet and you'll see so many different interpretations. Our 2 favorites are the buttery soft, champagne colored blondes and the brondes that are embracing yet enhancing their natural blonde. However you interpret this, bring photos to your stylist so you can consult a plan of attack.

BOUNCY BLOW OUTS + 90'S LAYERS

Right in line with those shorter curtain bangs, this layered haircut is definitely GIVING. If you have fine or thin hair, ask your stylist to achieve this haircut by adding more face framing and less layers throughout. Then dust off your velcro rollers, hot curlers, and oversized curling irons to style this trendy look at home!

SOFT COPPERS

Out with the Cowgirl and in with the Strawberry. Our redheads are rocking a softer look, by brightening their copper tones and fading away from the deep, dark-brown (almost violet) coppers.
